Directions
Take interstate I-12 to exit 59, Louisiana Highway 21. Follow Highway 21 south to Madisonville. Since parking at the festival is limited we suggest parking at one of the off-site parking lots and taking the convenient shuttle to the festival, see the Parking and Shuttle Information below.
Parking & Shuttles
Free Parking at the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum. Free off-site parking and shuttles will be available. The Courtyard by Marriott will provide a free shuttle to the festival. It will leave from the Marriott in Covington, LA on the hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. and make one stop at the Target/Belk shopping center just south of Interstate 12 on Highway 21, then on to the festival grounds. The shuttle will run from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
On-site shuttles to the festival from the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum will run continuously.
* The Tchefuncte River Bridge will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Sunday, 10/24 from 2:00 – 3:30 pm due to the Quick’n Dirty Parade and Contest.
